█ EasyDesk Perfect Companion 3.8.03 for Windows 98/ME Patch

█ 1. Either copy the patcher Pchpc383.exe to the folder where Perfect

█ Companion (PerfectC.exe) is installed or start the patcher and
█
█ navigate to that location. Execute the patch.
█

█ 2. Apply the Registry patch reg_expire_patch.reg
█
█ █
█ 3. You should now have a fully operational program without a time █
█ limit. █
█ █
█ 4. Reboot █
█ █
█ Notes █

█ This patch does not remove the nag screen but otherwise renders a █
█ fully functional program without the time-limit. █
█ █
█ If the Trial time has expired, you may need to cleansweep/uninstall
█
█ Perfect Companion: █
█ a. uninstall Perfect Companion using the Control Panel Add/Remove █
█ Programs █
█ b. remove the file C:\WINDOWS\HELP\Find.bin if it exists
█
█ c. use the Registry Editor to modify/remove the following Registry █
█ keys/values: █
█ 1. in key
█
█ HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-&

█ \InProcServer32 delete the value "ShowFlags"

█ 2. delete the key █

█ e. re-install the Perfect Companion Trial Version 3.8.03

█ f. run the trial version once - it should come up again this time █
█ g. apply the patch as described above █
